Chinese New Year is approaching and today is the last day of the current year!
Mommy woke up very early today to prepare 2 dishes for the reunion dinner - Lo Han Zai (vegetarian dish) and Fake Sharkfin (glass noodle) soup with scallop and crab meat.
Daddy and Mommy had lunch appointment with Uncle Nick and Auntie Joey. So, after making a brief stopover at Ah Ma's place, we proceeded to Uncle Nick's house which is located nearby.
Lunch was steamboat prepared by Uncle Nick and Auntie Joey. We all had a nice chit chat and little Gabriel had lots of fun with Claris.
After lunch, it was time for dinner at Ah Ma's place. Ah Ma was busy cooking all sorts of dishes. On the menu, there were:
(1) Pork trotter in soy sauce
(2) Bangkuang (yam bean) Char (or Jiu Hu Char)
(3) Prawns in sweet and sour sauce
(4) Chicken soup with baby clams
Auntie Li Shan's mom also helped to prepare 2 dishes:
(1) Wu Tao Kau Yok (Fatty Pork + Yam dish)
(2) Chicken curry
Of course, there were also the 2 dishes prepared by Mommy:
(1) Lo Han Zai
(2) Fake sharkfin soup with scallop and crab meat

Before dinner, little Gabriel put on the Chinese traditional cloth given by Ah Ma and he looked like this. Super cuteeeee...
After dinner, the cousins were busy posing to have their photos taken by Daddy. The girls were like models in a super small size. Check it out... However, there seems to be a robot among them. Guess who? :)
Daddy also managed to take a photo of fireworks and little Gabriel was fascinated by it.
Then, it was time for Lou Sang. Yeah, yeah, yeah...where got people Lou Sang after dinner? Thanks to Uncle Eric, our dinner started at around 8:30pm, so where got mood to Lou Sang when our tummies were all growling with hunger? Uncle Eric had to wash his big "lorry" before CNY, so we all waiter lor!
That was the Reunion Dinner for CNY 2011. We also took the prettiest (IMHO) family photo of all times (at least Uncle Luis' head is fully in the photo now :). And not to forget the photo of Ah Ma and a grumpy little Gabriel!
